                  CH 396X - Chemistry in A Historical Context  Lecture Hours: 0 Lab Hours: 3 Credit Hours: 3
  This is a course designed to acquaint the student with a historical and cultural context surrounding some of the major chemicals, chemical theories, and discoveries. Using certain themes, i.e. alchemy, medicinal chemistry, conservation of mass and man-made materials, the history and development of chemistry and chemical thought are traced from ancient times to the present.
