Vector and scalar methods in the composition and resolution of forces; moments of forces; equilibrium in two or three dimensions; simple structures including trusses and frames; shear and moment in beams; distributed loads; friction; centroids and centers of gravity. Open to CE majors only. Prerequisite(s): MA 123 with a minimum grade of C.
Remote Summer Session I Delivery Method: Syncronous and Asynchronous
A portion of each class period may be taught synchronously; therefore, attendance will be required. Some assignments, such as reviewing videos can be done asynchronous. Cadets will be required to attend online TEAMS meetings synchronously and use CANVAS to work online problem sets and to take online tests.
