A study and application of the quantitative analytical tools and concepts used in solving economics and business problems. The course emphasizes the use of data and software to illustrate and quantify economic and business relationships in order to better choose and assess leadership decisions. Prerequisite(s): MA 101 & MA 102 with a minimum grade of C
Remote Summer Session I Delivery Method: Asynchronous
This course will be conducted asynchronously. Each week there will be a module posted on Canvas with video lectures to watch. After watching the videos, there will be assignments for practice meant to simulate as close as possible in-class worksheets and activities that can be worked on with other students in the class. There will be homework assignments that go along with each section of the course, two mid-term exams, and a final exam all administered through Canvas.There will be a discussion board to post questions, where the instructor will provide answers either via text or video to serve as a proxy for office hours. The instructor will also be available each day for virtual office hours via Zoom.This course will rely heavily on Canvas for all course material and assignments. Zoom will be used for virtual office hours. It is strongly recommended that students have access to a graphing calculator. Software needed: Microsoft Excel, Textbook: None Required
