EE 328 - Computer Architecture

An introduction to the architecture and design of digital computers. Topics include instruction sets and assembly language programming, computer arithmetic, central processing units, pipelines, memory systems, input/output systems, and RISC and CISC concepts. Digital computers are modeled as complex digital systems to which digital systems design methods can be applied. Prerequisite(s): EE 238 .
