Covers advancement in information storage and retrieval. Topics include indexing, processing, and querying unstructured and multimedia data, retrieval models and algorithms, natural language preocessing, and design and implementation of an information retrieval system. Prerequisite(s): CIS 342   with a minimum grade of C.
