AR 316 - Cultural Topics in Arabic

An advanced course in which students will be exposed to different issues related to Arabic language, culture, tradition and norms of Arab society.  Emphasis will be on various forms of cultural expression, to include music, arts, poetry, film and literature. This course has the goal of  improving the four main language skills, speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing. Taught in Arabic. May be taken abroad.  Note: Retakes for credit. Prerequisite(s): AR 202  or instructor approval.
