BU 413 - Wealth Management

Emphasis in the major concepts in the creation and management of wealth for the individual, small privately held firms, and family owned businesses. Analysis of financial and estate planning from a life-cycle perspective; accumulation, preservation, and transfer. Examines the use of insurance as a planning tool for hedging and risk management. Explores the challenge of forecasting, considering both deterministic and random models. Prerequisite(s): BU 310 , EC 201 , & EC 202  with a minimum grade of C.
