An introduction to some of the main concepts and arguments developed by philosophers from before the birth of Socrates to the end of the Middle Ages. Questions to be explored might include: What is the fundamental nature of reality? What is the nature of human beings? What and how can we know about such things? Prerequisite(s): ERH 102 with a minimum grade of C.
