ERH 213 - Modern and Contemporary Philosophy

An introduction to some of the main concepts and arguments developed by Western philosophers since the Renaissance, and contemporary responses to them. Questions to be explored might include: Can we ever really know anything about the world outside our own minds? Can we prove that God exists? How can a physical body be conscious? Prerequisite(s): ERH 102  with a minimum grade of C.
