Research and writing of the honors paper under the supervision of a faculty member. Course concludes with an oral defense of a draft version of the thesis. Note: Writing intensive. HI 491W cannot be used to fulfill a regional distribution requirement. Prerequisite(s): HI 372M  with a minimum grade of B.
