MS 310 - Leadership in Small Unit Operations Credit Hours: 2
MS 310 focuses on applied leadership in small unit operations. It is an academically challenging course where Cadets study, practice, and apply the fundamentals of direct level leadership and small unit tactics at the platoon level. At the conclusion of this course, Cadets are capable of planning, coordinating, navigating, motivating and leading a platoon in the execution of a mission. It includes one lab per week, using peer facilitation overseen by ROTC Cadre. Successful completion of this course will help prepare commissioning Cadets for Cadet Summer Training/Advanced Camp at Fort Knox, KY. Corequisite(s): MS 320 for seeking/commissioning cadets or LS 351 for non-commissioning cadets. Failure to take the appropriate lab will result in a grade of F in the ROTC course.
