BI 106 - Concepts in Biology II

Cadets will explore biology from the organismal to ecological level and compare the diverse ways organisms have solved common problems. Topics will include evolution, ecology, biological diversity, form and function of organisms, and human impacts. In addition to their textbook, students will read and interpret scientific literature. Students will engage in biological inquiry in both the laboratory and the field, learning how to create and conduct scientific studies, essential methods for the research of biology, collect and analyze data using statistics, and interpret results within the broader field of biology.
