BI 351 - Environmental Biology Instructor: Mrs. Lisa Beckstrom Location: TBA Date/Time: Monday-Friday 9:45a.m. - 11:45a.m. Credit Hours: 4
This course introduces students to environmental concepts and issues. Topics include air and water pollution, global climate change, biodiversity conservation, endangered species, nonrenewable and renewable energy, land use management, and ecological footprints. Two hours of lecture. A group project addressing the challenges and regulations of land development is a fundamental part of this course. Prerequisite(s): BI 101 & BI 102*
