Basic studies concerning bonding, structure, and stereochemistry related to the physical and chemical properties of Organic compounds, and emphasizing kinetics, thermodynamics and acid-base theory. Synthesis and reactions of alkyl halides, alcohols, alkenes and alkynes are emphasized. Prerequisite(s): CH-138 or instructor approval
