Vector and scalar methods in the composition and resolution of forces; moments of forces; equilibrium in two or three dimensions; simple structures including trusses and frames; shear and moment in beams; distributed loads; friction; centroids and centers of gravity. Note: ME majors only. Cross-listed with CE 203 for Summer Session 2026. CE Majors should take CE 203; ME Majors should take ME-201.
