EC 201* - Principles of Microeconomics Instructor: Mr. Zebulen A. Riley Location: Scott Shipp Hall 163 Date/Time: Monday-Friday 7:30-9:30 a.m. Credit Hours: 3
Microeconomics is the study of human behavior. It is the crucial analysis of how individuals, households and firms make decisions about what to do, where to go, what to buy, what to sell, and what to pay. You will learn how markets shape the world around us: in particular, what a market is, what a market’s limitations are. This is a course unlike most courses you have had before. This course will teach you a way to think about your surroundings. The delivery platform in this course for cadets placed in isolation/quarantine during VMI Summer Session will be Canvas and Zoom. Note: Textbook: The Economy, CORE. Available for free online and will be on the syllabus, no additional materials required
