An introduction to the biology of plants. Plant structure and functioning including the anatomy of tissues, physiology, ecology, systematics and the evolution of non-flowering and flowering plants will be presented in the course. The course will emphasize vascular plants with additional coverage of algae and fungi. Prerequisite(s): One of the following sequences:

BI 101 and BI 102 ,

BI 105 and BI 106 , or

BI 111 and BI 112 , and BI 113 .
