BI 346 - Genetics

An introductory study in genetics. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the flow of biologic information from DNA to proteins and the mechanisms of genetic change. Students will utilize software to analyze and compare genomes of a variety of organisms in order to better understand change and regulation at the genetic level. Prerequisite(s): One of the following sequences:

BI 101 and BI 102 ,

BI 105 , BI 106 , and BI 200 , or

BI 111 , BI 112 , and BI 113 .
